About Dr. David Nelson

Dr. David Nelson is the founder and president of Crossing Cultures International (CCI), a global ministry dedicated to equipping Christ followers through comprehensive training for effective ministry. With a vision to empower leaders within their own cultural contexts, David Nelson has been instrumental in training over 20,000 pastors, laypeople, and business leaders across more than 43 countries.​

He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Liberty University and holds a Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice University.

David lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife, Mindy. They have two children and six grandchildren. In addition to his passion for training leaders, David is an avid runner who also enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, spending time at the beach, and making memories with his family.
