Dr. Nelson

Dr Nelson graduated from Indiana University in 1991. He did a clinical residency in geriatric hospital-based optometry at the Colmery O’Neil VA Medical Center. He has provided low vision rehabilitation services to the community for twelve years. He enjoys contact lens care and working with patients of all ages. Dr Nelson is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. He is the Zone President for the Kansas Optometric Association’s Northeast Area. He is also active on the Kansas Optometric Association’s Low Vision Committee. He, his wife, and two children are active in their church. He and his family are avid sailors.
